About

We are proud members of the world’s largest volunteer organization, united by a shared commitment to service and community engagement.

The Hamden Woman’s Club was founded in 1950 by 27 visionary women who encouraged participation in community-focused activities. Our mission is to bring women together for mutual support and to promote civic, educational, and social initiatives. In 1951, we became affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

The Hamden Woman’s Club welcomes all women from Hamden and the Greater New Haven area who are passionate about volunteering their time and talents to serve the community.

We are continually developing new projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life in our local neighborhoods.

We believe in the power of women to embrace their potential, define their future, and positively impact the world.
